A Stylized Environment
The goal of this project was to create a stylized 3D environment for real-time applications. While not bound to any setting or theme, a crucial part of the project was to consciously arrange the composition and select a fitting and aesthetic color palette. The 3D models were created with blender and textured with Adobe Substance Painter, the environment was built in Unreal Engine.

What I Worked On
Since this was a solo project, I was responsible for everything. Prior to this, I did not have a lot of experience in environment art and had to develop a workflow that worked for me. At the start, I created a concept for the setting and the composition, which I refined with photobashing and overpainting. My focus was on a calm, peaceful atmosphere, which is why I picked warm tones with a few complementary colors. In the engine, I used lighting, different shaders and particle effects to make the environment more interesting. Overall, I am pretty satisfied with the outcome.
